As one of a family of 11, I experienced group dynamics and lively discussion around a table from an early age.

Prior to founding my practice in 1991, I directed the marketing research functions at both Lotus Development (1986-1991) and Atari (1981-1984).
In both positions I successfully managed and led substantial client bases as well as staffs and budgets.
I helped pioneer the effective use of consumer marketing research in these fast-paced, technology-driven organizations.
My background also includes senior-level market research experience at Sears, Roebuck as well as Dial Corp. and Livingston & Co. advertising agency.

I have been a featured speaker at various professional and trade conferences.

I hold an MBA in marketing from the University of Michigan and a BA in journalism from Ohio State. I have also taught in evening undergraduate and graduate marketing programs at universities in Chicago, San Francisco and Boston.
